Ansar Battalion Job Circular: Since its inception, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force have been playing important role in maintaining law and order in the country as well as security of government and non-government organizations, traffic control, public safety work, disaster management, poverty alleviation, women empowerment, security of various events and socio-economic development.
It has recently been announced that only male candidates will be selected on a temporary basis as Battalion Ansar in this force. 400 people will be appointed to this post. Ansar Battalion Job Circular Qualifications
According to the notification, in order to take training as Ansar, the candidates have to pass a minimum SSC or equivalent examination. Must be between 18 and 22 years of age on July 7, 2022. In the case of physical fitness, height should be a minimum of 5 feet 6 inches in the case of general and other candidates and 5 feet 4 inches in the case of candidates of a small ethnic group. For general and other candidates weight is 49.895 kg, chest size 32-34 inches and for small ethnic group candidates weight is 48.173 kg, chest size 30-32 inches. All candidates will need eyesight on 6/6.
However, if there is an incurable disease, the candidate will not be selected in the preliminary selection. The candidate must be unmarried. Preference will be given to candidates of higher stature, listed Ansar-VDP members, and outstanding achievements in the field of sports.
Ansar Battalion Job Circular How to apply
Candidates need to register online. The application form has to be filled out and submitted by clicking on the link ‘Application for the post of Battalion Ansar’ on the website of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force from Union Digital Center (UDC) or any online computer.
The link will be active from June 19 to July 7. An online registration fee of tk. 200 / – has to be submitted through bKash / Rocket / MobiCash displayed on the application portal, which is non-refundable. Once the registration is completed, each candidate will get a reference ID and save that reference ID.
Instructions will be given to download the admission form via SMS to the mobile number given in the application of the candidate at a later time. Candidates will print and save the entry form online through that reference ID and will be present at the designated place along with the entry form, application form, and all the required certificates for the selection.

Ansar Battalion Job Circular Medical and written examinations
In case of selection, candidates will be given an initial medical examination, written examination, and final medical examination. Only selected candidates will complete the Fasting Sugar, HbAIC, HBs Ag, Anti HCV, Serum Creatinine, and Dope Test.
Candidates who qualify for Fasting Sugar, HbAIC, and Serum Creatinine Blood Tests, HBs Ag and Anti HCV Blood Tests Negative and Dope Test (Urine) Test Not Detected Results will be considered as Final Selected.
A subsequent appointment letter will be issued subject to receipt of a proper investigation report after completion of Police VR.
Ansar Battalion Job Circular Necessary documents
Attested photocopy of original/temporary certificate of educational qualification of candidates for participation in verification and selection, six attested passport size attested color photograph, citizenship certificate issued by the concerned union council chairman/municipality chairman/ward councilor, attested photocopy of national identity card, attestation certificate Certificate issued by the Council Chairman / Municipality Chairman / Ward Councilor, the certificate issued by the Ward Councilor in case of unmarried Union Parishad or Municipality Chairman or City Corporation and the required documents mentioned in the notification along with pen, pencil, scale, clipboard for the candidates to participate in the examination.
Ansar Battalion Job Circular Allowances and benefits
The final selected candidates will be given daily food allowance, ration allowance, medical allowance, laundry allowance, risk allowance, travel allowance, ration material, and other benefits during the training.
In addition, two festival allowances of tk. 10,000 per annum and a maximum of 12 months daily allowance at the time of retirement after 5 years of satisfactory integration will be given as a lump sum of two months’ allowance (daily / food allowance).
The recruited Battalion Ansar members will be made permanent after six years of satisfactory service. The final selected candidates will have to join Ansar VDP Academy, Safipur, and Gazipur for six months of basic training.
